| Juan Albuerne is a fantastic doll artist that does dolls in the images of various celebrities, he does celebrities from the 1920's to 2002, Everything from Marilyn Monroe to Grace Jones. He uses manufactured fashion dolls transforming them into super real looking images of the celebrity he wants to depict!! All are high quality repaints on the dolls and he works with various Artists on the clothing! I myself have worked with Juan on Several projects that have included Bette Midler, Liza Minnelli, Peggy Lee and others! | |

Karen made her first bear in November 1996 and ever since she has been hooked! She began using commercial patterns and won numerous 1st prizes in various shows. For nearly 6 years now she has been designing her own bears. All the bears are original designs. Each bear is made from the best quality mohair. I create one of a kind dolls. They are all fashion sized dolls being 11 1/2 inches tall. I make all the clothing and jewelry for them. On most of the dolls, i enhance their face painting and i re-style their hair. I sometimes use wigs that i make. I recently started sculpting their outfits from clay and then decorating the clay. Each and everyday i think of new and different ways to enrich my skills. This is a hobby that will be with me forever. |

I am a dedicated dollmaker, working in polymer clay, cloth and papier-mâché. My dolls range from miniature fairies and animals, to 18" Izanna Walker type dolls. Most are on cloth bodies with wire artiture. Every part of my creations is my own original, clothes patterns included. I made Gnomey folk, 10" and under, which come with their own companion Marybugs, or fairy children in their laps. I also sell patterns for clothdolls, named The Magical Mushroom. |
